Short Description:

PE520 is a low density polyethylene wax with branched chain synthesized under Ziegler catalyst with an average molecular weight of about 2300. Clariant Licowax PE520 is an ideal carrier for color masterbatch and functional masterbatch for polyolefin and as a highly effective external lubricant for polar plastics because of its excellent antioxidant properties and white appearance without fish eyes.

Storage Condition

Clariant Licowax powder PE520 is fully suitable for pigment masterbatches for polyolefin coloring. As polyethylene wax, it is compatible with high-density and low-density polyethylene, and partly polypropylene. Pigment masterbatches containing Clariant Licowax powder PE520 have no effect on the mechanical properties of polyethylene at all.
