Short Description:

SF-X570 It is a reactive chemical with a methacryline-based organic functional group and a trimethoxyl silicon-based inorganic functional group. This bifunctional structure gives SF-X570 special properties: it is able to bond inorganic materials (e.g., glass, silica) and organic thermoset resins together, thus acting as adhesion promoting, cross-linking agent and/or surface modifier. It is a colorless transparent liquid sensitive to light and heat, with a distinct sweet smell, soluble alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Application

1.The mechanical strength of the glass fiber reinforced composite can be improved by treating the glass fiber yarn with an infiltration agent containing SF-X570 silane-coupling agent (containing film forming agent, lubricant and antistatic agent).

2.SF-X570 can improve the wet and dry mechanical strength of polyester composites filled with silica, glass, silicate and metal oxide.

 

3.SF-X570 can improve the wet electrical properties of many inorganic fillers filled composites.

 

4.SF-X570 can be copolymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylate or methacrylate monomers to synthesize silyl polymers that can be cross-linked and cured at room temperature. These silylated polymers are widely used in paints, adhesives, and sealants. Provides excellent adhesion and durability.

 

5.SF-X570 silane can be applied to inorganic surfaces as a diluted aqueous solution (0.1 to 0.5% silane). For the preparation of aqueous solutions, the pH of the water was adjusted to 3.0 to 4.5 with acetic acid, and then silane was added while thorough agitation was carried out.
